Warning lights can be checked and erased using our scanners.
Engine light - This is the most common light to stay on and can be a simple as the fuel used or something more serious, generally the vehicle can still be driven with
this light on but oil and coolant should be checked first
Oil light- This light will be display with low engine oil or low engine oil pressure and should be addressed immediately and vehicle not driven.
Overheating light- This light will indicate high engine temperatures and the vehicle needs to be stopped immediately and left to cool down then the coolant
level checked.
Brake light- This light will indicate a loss of brake fluid and the vehicle should be stopped immediately and the brake fluid checked.
ABS Light- This light will generally display when the computer reads an incorrect reading from a sensor or a module and should be checked as soon as possible.
Traction control light- This light will display when the computer detects a fault in the system and should be checked as soon as possible
There are many other lights than can display and the best place to find what the warning light could mean is the service book, some can be as simple as alerting the driver to a bulb not working right through to a major computer malfunction. Caution should be taken if any warning light is displayed.
